Order Inquiries
Have a question about an existing order?
Check your order receipt for a tracking link that shows which items have shipped or are still being processed.
While you wait, here are answers to some common questions!
Orders & Checkout
Preorders & Backorders

Preorder: Items labeled as "preorder" are not yet in stock but have been ordered and are awaiting production. Patterns typically have a release date, while hand-dyed fabrics can take 3-12 weeks. Some items may require a call before ordering to confirm details.

Backorder: These are out-of-stock items we’re waiting to restock. If an item is marked “sold out,” you can call to request a special order. However, online backorders for fabrics are only available for Seraphim Fabrics and Fiber on a Whim—all others require direct confirmation.
If your order includes a preorder item, the entire order will ship together unless you've placed separate orders or agreed to pay additional shipping fees to split the shipment.
Payment & Checkout

Accepted Payment Methods: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and PayPal. We do not accept American Express, personal checks, or money orders.

Order Modifications: If you forgot to apply a discount code, we cannot retroactively apply it—be sure to enter codes before checkout.

Order Cancellations: Contact us to cancel an order. Canceled items are refunded as store credit, minus a 30% restocking fee. If an item is unavailable or wait times exceed six months (e.g., for hand-dyed fabrics), we’ll contact you to offer an alternative.

Multiple Orders & Shipping: Orders placed separately cannot be combined for shipping once processed.
Returns & Refunds

General Returns: We accept returns of unused items if you contact us within 7 days of receiving them.

Pattern Policy: Patterns cannot be returned due to copyright protections.

Refunds: Refunds are issued as store credit, minus return shipping costs. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Order Errors: If we make a mistake with your order, we will replace or refund it at no cost to you.
Shipping
Processing & Delivery Times

Orders typically process within 5-7 business days (Tuesday-Saturday).

Preorders ship within 2 business days of arrival.

Backorders ship within 1-3 business days once back in stock.

Busy Periods: Orders may take longer during peak times, such as February-March (Nashville Needlework Market season).
If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us before purchasing to confirm availability.
Tracking & Shipping Methods

Once you place an order, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking link.

We offer USPS First Class International Mail, UPS, and FedEx for international shipping. Customers are responsible for customs fees, VAT, or other applicable taxes.

If you purchase multiple items in one order, shipping is automatically combined for the best rate.

We occasionally offer discounts via social media and email newsletters.

Discount codes must be applied before checkout—refunds for missed codes are not available.

Product Information
Why Are Some Items Missing Photos?
We’re updating our website and inventory, so some products have temporary placeholders. You can still order these items if they’re in stock!
Why Do Some Items Take Longer to Ship?
Many fabrics and threads are dyed on demand to offer a wider selection. Some items have extended processing times, which are noted in the product description. We’ll contact you if there are unexpected delays.
Fabric Sizing & Inventory

Half-Yard Cuts vs. Fat Quarters: We store fabric in half-yard pieces for easier inventory management. If you order a fat quarter and it's out of stock, we’ll cut a half-yard piece for you.

Fabric Shrinkage: Hand-dyed fabrics may shrink slightly. If size is critical for your project, consider ordering a larger piece.
