This sampler was inspired by Fanny Lovett's sampler of 1810. Like on Fanny's sampler, the verses on Virtue, Industry, and Friendship are the main focus on my adaptation. These familiar verses are found on many old samplers, but usually not all three appear on the same sampler. Some of the motifs on my adaptation on based on those found on Fanny's sampler, but others are original.

The model was stitched on 36 count Rue Green linen from Zweigart, using DMC embroidery thread and overdyed threads from Classic Colorworks and The Gentle Art (Sampler Threads). .

Stitch count: 197 wide x 225 high

Preorder & Special Order Information

Terms & Conditions for Preorders and Special Order items-

  • Patterns generally arrive within a month of their release (Market and Expo times can cause variation). New releases can be about a month while existing releases may only take a few days as they are simply being restocked.
  • Fabric will be dyed to order and time varies between the Dyers. Generally between 4-12 weeks.
  • Threads generally arrive within a few days to a month.
  • Should you want to cancel any items within your order, you will only be refunded in store credit less a restocking fee. 
  • If I cannot fulfill your order due to supply issues or discontinuance, I will refund your original payment method and contact you for alternatives. 

Preorder & Special order items are NOT IN STOCK and will ship within 2 business days of arrival. If you order these items and other in stock items, your entire order will ship when your FULL ORDER is in stock. Please contact me if you need items from your order sooner, we can work on it together. 

Cancellations

Refunds for cancelling any item with Preorder in the title, will be issued as a Store Credit less a 30% restocking fee. All cancellations are refunded in Store Credit only.

Postage & Handling is not refundable as it is a service that is not refundable once a shipment is mailed and accepted by the carrier
