These two samplers were inspired by Ackworth School, one of the most famous Quaker schools, located in Yorkshire in northern England.

The package contains charts for BOTH samplers. Also included is a short essay on Ackworth School and its needlework.

The models were stitched entirely in cross stitch over two linen threads using one ply of Milady's Teal from Classic Colorworks on 32 count Maple Sugar linen from Lakeside Linens, Inc. Each sampler requires 3, 5-yard skeins of embroidery thread if stitched with a single ply of thread.

Preorder & Special Order Information

Terms & Conditions for Preorders and Special Order items-

  • Patterns generally arrive within a month of their release (Market and Expo times can cause variation). New releases can be about a month while existing releases may only take a few days as they are simply being restocked.
  • Fabric will be dyed to order and time varies between the Dyers. Generally between 4-12 weeks.
  • Threads generally arrive within a few days to a month.
  • Should you want to cancel any items within your order, you will only be refunded in store credit less a restocking fee. 
  • If I cannot fulfill your order due to supply issues or discontinuance, I will refund your original payment method and contact you for alternatives. 

Preorder & Special order items are NOT IN STOCK and will ship within 2 business days of arrival. If you order these items and other in stock items, your entire order will ship when your FULL ORDER is in stock. Please contact me if you need items from your order sooner, we can work on it together. 

Cancellations

Refunds for cancelling any item with Preorder in the title, will be issued as a Store Credit less a 30% restocking fee. All cancellations are refunded in Store Credit only.

Postage & Handling is not refundable as it is a service that is not refundable once a shipment is mailed and accepted by the carrier
