The Ackworth Friendship Book is an accordion-style book of Quaker motifs from Ackworth School in northern England. There are 10 stitched pages. Each set of pages forms a pocket in which you can store special treasures.
On my model, I stitched the front and back book covers, and eight of my friends each stitched a page and "signed" her page with her initials. You can do the same or else stitch the entire book yourself.
The model was stitched on 36 count Maple Sugar from Lakeside Linens, Inc. using one ply of Milady's Teal from Classic Colorworks. The design requires 6, 5-yard skeins if stitched with one ply of thread like the model. The model also uses 12-mm Arctic Ice Dark silk satin ribbon from Gloriana Threads (1 yard for the book and 2 yards for the bag).

Terms & Conditions for Preorders and Special Order items-
- Patterns generally arrive within a month of their release (Market and Expo times can cause variation). New releases can be about a month while existing releases may only take a few days as they are simply being restocked.
- Fabric will be dyed to order and time varies between the Dyers. Generally between 4-12 weeks.
- Threads generally arrive within a few days to a month.
- Should you want to cancel any items within your order, you will only be refunded in store credit less a restocking fee.
- If I cannot fulfill your order due to supply issues or discontinuance, I will refund your original payment method and contact you for alternatives.
Preorder & Special order items are NOT IN STOCK and will ship within 2 business days of arrival. If you order these items and other in stock items, your entire order will ship when your FULL ORDER is in stock. Please contact me if you need items from your order sooner, we can work on it together.
Cancellations
Refunds for cancelling any item with Preorder in the title, will be issued as a Store Credit less a 30% restocking fee. All cancellations are refunded in Store Credit only.
Postage & Handling is not refundable as it is a service that is not refundable once a shipment is mailed and accepted by the carrier
